Ever wonder how raised images appear on hand carved signs? Images like a scallop shell or pineapple. This course will allow you to focus on how to make an appliqué to attach to a hand carved sign. It will depict how to craft them in the way that it was done by many colonial craftsmen. You will learn to design and craft an appliqué, tool selection, tool sharpening, patterns and a bit of history is just a little of what you will walk away with besides two appliqués you carved.
